Every month, people who work in the environmental field, the eco curious and the environmentally minded meet up at informal sessions known as Green Drinks. We have a lively mixture of people from NGOs, academia, organic farmers, designers, energy consultants to those who are not employed in a green industry but care about environmental issues.
Come along and you'll be made welcome. Green Drinks Charlotte is a relaxed and inviting place to meet eco minded locals for business contacts, good conversation and just to make new friends. Everyone is encouraged to invite someone else along, so there's always a different crowd, making Green Drinks an organic, self-organizing network. These events are simple and unstructured, but many people have found employment, made friends, developed new ideas, done deals and had moments of serendipity. It's a force for the good!
Every month we will feature a different eco organization who will give a brief introduction during our montly Green Drinks sessions of what they do to keep Charltote green. |
