Founded in 2007, The Charlotte Green Team is an alliance of hospitality and tourism professionals who are committed to environmental and social responsibility, profitability and sustainability in serving our customers and visitors. We specialize in sharing innovative practices, policies, programs, products, and cutting-edge technologies to effectively manage business operations and our carbon footprint.

As the only regional effort to bring vendors to the hospitality industry for green solutions, we are dedicated to moving hospitality and tourism along in a continuum of environmental sustainability.

What began as a volunteer effort, with the Charlotte Regional Visitors Authority (CRVA), Charlotte Center City Partners, Tribble Creative Group and the Charlotte Area Hotel Association, The Charlotte Green Team brought together industry players to provide feedback in gaps on green efforts and areas of improvement. Today, we have evolved from mainly providing solutions for creating eco-friendly events to greening the hospitality and tourism industry in our region.
